This woman is one of the eight detained and deported to CECOT on March 15th — a flight that included another woman and a man from Guatemala, all of whom were ultimately rejected by the Salvadoran government. She remains locked up in the Webb County Detention Facility in Laredo, Texas.

The Webb County Detention Center, located in Laredo, Texas, is a detention facility that is managed by CoreCivic, a private for-profit company. It is operated under the authority of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the U.S. Marshals Service, and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The facility houses adult men and women, criminal detainees, and undocumented migrants.
I sent this to my Senator in Virginia through their contact form.
If someone could look into this case. There is a woman who was one of the 8 sent to CECOT but returned. She is being held in a Texas Immigration Detention Facility in Webb County and looks horrible. There is a video of her and it appears she is suffering from a progressive medical condition that is causing her to be unable to walk properly and facial paralysis. It is clear from the video that the entire side of her face is drooping, I don’t think it is a simple case of Bell’s Palsy as she says it involves her left foot as well. She says the judge has issued an order of deportation but planes have departed for Venezuela and she hasn’t been released. This link has more information including her id number, the video and a picture of her before she entered into ICE Custody. https://outofcecot.org/yoderlyn-daviana-acosta-pena/
She is home. Whether the calls to the detention facility and Congressman Cuellar’s office helped the process along or if it’s just a coincidence, we might never know but thanks to everyone who took the time to take action.
